Hilarious “Honest” Trailer From Screen Junkies

| Screen Junkies |
Screen Junkies got this one right in their ‘honest trailer’ segment. Admittedly, I enjoyed ‘Star Trek: Into the Darkness,’ but there were quite a few glitches. One being a pointless scene with the lovely Alice Eve in her undies. Seriously, what was the point? I’m not a prude, but I still don’t get it. It made no sense. In fact, even the screenwriter I love to hate, Damon Lindelof (‘Lost,’ ‘Prometheus,’ and now ‘Star Trek: Into the Darkness’) admitted that the scene was absurd. See his apology. Whatev… Check out Screen Junkie’s trailer. It’s a hoot.
It is rather funny. And they did point out there were two good reasons for the semi-nudity.
The dude wrote Prometheus? He must've been on drugs for that one.
Yes, I agree. I still enjoyed Ridley Scott's direction, but this is why the writers of 'Lost' should never work again.
Simon Pegg is cursing out fans for hating this film, but it was absurd in parts. Funny video!
Ha, Simon needs to take a pill.
What was the point? To attract young males to see Star Trek. But that's their demographic anyway, so this was overkill.
Simon Pegg got paid. What does he care? But they missed their golden moment. They could have had Scotty say, "Beam me up, Kirk!" I think a few of us together would have come up with a better script.
That was awesome! It's nice to have feelings validated.
I loved that movie but this trailer was way too on point!

Mark– You're right. I guess that's their demographic. But heck, I should be in their demo too! 🙂
Libby– Me too. I feel validated.
Lydia– Ha, I enjoyed that movie as well, but I had to agree with the trailer!
